Do you have insurance?

Yes. Veteran Tree Care carries workers’ compensation and general liability insurance. Certificates are available on request.

Are you licensed?

Yes. Our arborist work is performed under a Louisiana Department of Agriculture & Forestry arborist license. See Credentials & Verification.

What is a Board Certified Master Arborist?

The highest credential awarded by the International Society of Arboriculture, held by founder Ricky Folse.

Do you offer free estimates or consultations?

Estimates for tree work are free. For formal written risk assessments, appraisals or reports, we’ll explain the scope and cost before any work begins.

Can you save a tree another company wants to remove?

Sometimes. Many trees written off at a glance can be kept safely with structural pruning, cabling or bracing, soil and root work, or monitoring. An assessment tells you which.

How often should trees be inspected or maintained?

At least once a year and after any major storm. Older and high-value trees benefit from a regular care plan.

Do you offer regular maintenance plans or contracts?

Yes. Tree-health maintenance programs are part of our tree healthcare service.

Do you offer emergency tree removal services?

Yes. We offer 24-hour emergency tree removal.

How quickly can you respond to emergency situations?

We answer emergency calls 24/7 and respond as quickly as conditions and safety allow. Emergency response may carry an additional cost.

Do you work with insurance companies for storm-related damage?

Yes. We work with insurance companies and document the job for your claim.

What should I do if a tree falls on my property?

Keep everyone clear and don’t touch the tree, especially if wires are involved. Call 911 and your utility for downed lines, then call us at 985-688-4041.

Can you remove a tree that’s near power lines or structures?

We remove trees near structures and near the service lines to a house. We don’t remove trees on main utility lines. Those must be cleared by the power company.

Why can’t my tree be topped?

Topping causes large decaying wounds and weak regrowth that fails more easily. Reduction pruning lowers height and weight properly.

Is Veteran Tree Care veteran-owned?

Veteran Tree Care is veteran owned and veteran led, with U.S. Army veteran Lori Williams as Owner / Director, and it intentionally employs veterans. See Our Mission.
